If you don’t need much support overnight, each support worker or carer will generally work a 24-hour shift between one to three times a week. They must be able to sleep overnight so require a private room to sleep in and they are on-call to assist you if needed in the night.
If you require a lot of support overnight or your support worker needs to be awake through the night for safety reasons, then shifts are generally about 8-10 hours at a time so you will need more than one worker in a 24 hour period. Whichever model you need, you can rest assured that we will build a team suited to your needs. |
