We can assist a wide variety of people, including Parents, not-for-profit organisations, designers, and developers looking to upgrade or develop new homes as Specialist Disability Accommodation.
Upgrades of existing Specialist Disability Accommodation
SDA upgrades are undertaken for many reasons, and these include
- Where the current building requires certification to receive NDIS funding.
- Due diligence inspections to check compliance
- Where non-compliances were identified to the minimum LCA/ SDA requirements
- Where a change in category is desired, i.e. changing from ‘Fully Accessible’ to ‘High Physical Support’.
Our Property Management Services
National Care Services is an NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Provider and can act on the property owners’ behalf to manage their investment by reducing paperwork, costs and ongoing compliance as required by NDIA / NDIS.
- Properties will be managed under a Head Lease Agreement for a minimum of 2 or 5 years, which will enable the dwelling to be sublet to suitable SDA approved participants
- Lodgement of SDA property for enrolment under a head lease arrangement
- Handle portal submissions
- Prepare required reporting for rent received, outgoings, maintenance and inspections undertaken
- Receive individual rental payments from participants within the property
- Ensure compliance with all NDIA compliance requirements
